Being Single vs. Being Taken
Being single has its own perks as well as being in a relationship. They each also have their downsides. While most want to have his/her significant other, being single aint that bad! While being singe, one has the ability to go around flirtin it up with whoever and whenever without having a guilt trip or whatnot. Now I don't know if a lot of people do that while being single because I know that I don't. Being single also means that you have freedom. I know saying it like that makes being in a relationship sound bad but that's not what I mean. When one is in a relationship, you have to adjust to the other person's likes, dislikes, etc. Of course, when you are in a happy relationship, one is more than happy to compromise, as they should be but being single just lets one be who and however they want to be. Downsides. Do I really have to say it? When you're single, you're single! You don't have that special someone on Valentine's Day or celebrate cute little anniversaries. You don't have someone to cuddle with or have date nights with. Now that I think of it, this kind of sounds somewhat depressing. Well maybe depressing isn't the right word but you know what I mean and I'm sure there are many who love being single. Being in a relationship is pretty awesome too though. You basically have everything that a single person doesn't when it comes to this particular topic. There are downsides to this too though. You have to find time to spend with your gf/bf and spend extra money for him/her. You also may not be able to hang out with your friends as much (especially those of other sex if your bf/gf is possessive) which may lead to fights and anger. I don't know about you but I would be pretty pissed if I wasn't allowed to hang out with my friends just because of one person. So in general, I just think everyone should know that there are perks to both sides. Just be happy in the state your in right now! :)
Robert Downey Jr.
I'm just going to start off this post by saying that i freakin love Robert Downey Jr. more than anything and ugh he is just too perfect and this is coming from a chic who doesn't really fangirl over many people. With that said, you can already tell I am a huuuge fan of his, no doubt. He is just way to amazing and let me explain why: he has been through so much and yet has made his way up to being one of the best actors of his generation, he improvises half the time while on set of many of his movies and makes it work, he doesn't give a damn about what others think of him while he's out with his family because he loves them more than anything, etc, etc. The list can go on and on. I am sure there are many people who will agree as well as disagree. I don't care. RDJ is just kick ass person and I would love to meet him some day. Now let me talk about my obsession with him (which is kind of sad but whatever). A math teacher at my school has a cousin that is married to one of Robert Downey Jr's cousin making them family now. When she told me this, I legitimately started to tear up because she gets to go over to his house now whenever she pleases. Yup, I cried from jealousy. Pathetic, I know but I mean picture yourself in that situation with your all time favorite actor/musician/whoever famous. From Kiss Kiss Bang Bang to Sherlock Holmes to Iron Man, I have always been in love with Mr. Downey Jr. and the way he is. His personality is just awesome and he knows it but doesn't get overly cocky. His acting skills are stupendous and can be seen all throughout his career as an actor. Some say he is like wine, better with age and yes, I too believe this. Over time this 48 year old man has become an phenomenon to people all over the world. I love Robert Downey Jr. and all things Robert Downey Jr. related :D

Norm? What Norm?
As teenagers, we are constantly trying to "fit in" and keep up with the latests fads. Why though? What is the point of trying to look the same as the person next to ya? I don't want to waste my good 'ol energy trying to hide my personal interests just because someone on tv said feathers in your hair is hip (which i personally think is tacky). Honestly, no one should have to wear or do something just because it is the "norm". What is the "norm" of our generation anyways? Of society? So many people have so many different opinions towards almost every little thing that it's almost unfair to say that there eve are such things as "norms"! So then, why is it that people get bullied/harassed for being a bit different from what the "cool kids" are doing or wearing? Why do people have to be such butt heads to those who don't really care if they are "in style" or not? Why does all of this matter in the first place? I say that if a person is happy(or seems happy) in the things he/she does or wears or how he/she looks in general, then leave 'em the eff alone bro, period. It's not in anyones place to go around teasin or makin fun of someone like that. And even if someone is unhappy, that gives a bigger reason as to why people shouldn't be jerks! Instead, be a friend and lend out a helping hand or just keep quiet and walk on. No reason to be a butt. Right? Right. Good talk (:
